Why 3 years? There has never been a gap longer than 3 years where Icefrog didn't release a hero. Or do you mean Valve?
Idk just like if they "were done with the game" in 3 years. This must stop somewhere i guess? Or do u think there will be 300 heroes in 2040?
its almost never longer than 6 months between hero updates and almost always 2 as of late. he will probably keep going as long as there's some viable hero concepts left and then go into the types of skills gambler had. dota's stat and scalng setup is much easier to balance than those other games so there's a lot of room.
P.S. people who don't want to risk games with OP or UP heroes should stick to CM.
DotA is under development for nearly 10 years
The development wont stop until the majority of the players move on.
