also spectre is second hardest counter to slark in late game after bloodseeker so lgd should win this unless they will fail miserably during this 40-50 minute phase

Some ppl will be confused by hontrashplayereu comment. Slark has been used very effectively by western teams for over a month now. Alliance and Liquid did it best and both took massive pubstomp style wins over the Chinese teams at the G1 LAN finals. Ever since the top eastern teams have been trying to fit slark into their repertoire with limited success.

But they are steadily working out how to use several important western strats in preparation for TI3. I think this game put everyone on notice that DK has got slark down. The constant aggression they used this game was way way outside the kind of play we had seen from DK for the last couple years really. They have been trying all kinds of ideas to get out of the 4 protect 1 box over the last couple months with mixed results. But this game Burnings farm was really not very good, and they still won decisively. This is a different DK.

And there it is, LGD bans slark in game 3.

lgd just plays bad usualy they play so good with decent discipline and shit

and in second game they got crushed so badly slark has probably one of the lowest stat gain per level of all heroes in dota and yet they still managed to get crushed by him not buying gem , not picking it up when slark dorps it after death was just sad to watch them

atleast they playing abit better in game 3

LGD bans slark game 4, ....it may seem obvious to get an early gem ....but they don't believe they know what to do about slark.

And he didn't get Agha. They are mostly focused on pushing but they just got wiped in a push and now they can't push shit.

earlier buybacks do not have that much of impact unless enemy team pushing ur raxes and u can bb to change the outcome of teamfight

w/o buyback they dont really have chance to win this game both furion and spectre buyback > back into fight heroes and cores of their DK lineup
