It counts as a loss in Dota, as well. If it doesn't say "No stats will be recorded" then it will still count.
Safe to leave = leaving with out abandon status (Basically your throwing the game)
No stat/safe to leave occurs when someone abandons game before 5 minute mark in-game

why do abandons by other people counts as losses, for example within 10 minutes 2 people left a game i played the other day, i played until about 20 minutes when i was the last one left and it was safe to leave. Now i get a loss for this? that is stupid as hell, should be changed
