Red is because kill means BLOOD (first bloood !) you know :D grey = "meaning literally a color "without color. It is the color of ash" like dead. And green, like OK, no kill but it worked out .
I dont see any connection with W/L ratio since u can win game with 0 kills :P

Don't know if it was suggested before, but I couldn't find any search button, so...
I think the colors of KDA should be changed for something more intuitive. In my opinion, the kills should be shown as green, the deaths as red and the assists as grey.
Red is always bound to something that went wrong, and green to something that worked out. Like in Dotabuff itself, your wins appear as green, and losses as red. Why make it different on KDA?
Assists should be grey cause it differentiates well from the other two and looks neutral.
