I feel you, this has happened to me loads. There is no real way to combat this as it sadly :( is a legitimate tactic no matter how gay it seems. Best thing you can do is just ALT TAB and go on facebook or something in the meantime as no good out come will come of it, you could also sell all your items and buy a blink dagger and go into the forest.
Inlisting a type of punishment would also warrant some abuse and if lets say there was a system, much like the reporting system people would just report you for anything and it would ruin the essence of what that was put in place for in the first place.

If a team is so ahead another that they manage to fountain farm them for more than 5 minutes without having any of them dying and having the creeps away from 1200 range of the losing team, thus earning an abandon to several of the losing team players in a short timeframe and putting them on LPQ?

The victims couldn't possibly have the knowledge to effectively avoid being fountain farmed, seeing how they allowed them to farm them for 5 min straight, they also have no way to remove the abandon or appeal to the punishment because of valve's zero tolerance policy and because there simply isn't anywhere you can go to appeal for dota 2.
What do you guys think about this? should excessive fountain farming be allowed to the point in which the victims get punished?
