treads > phase for mid to late game if you aim for it. then go blink, crit and after that its up to the game. Your choices are mkb, yasha, bkb, MoM. I also feel your pain with TA not being able to carry very hard, but I've had the most success going straight for damage/attackspeed with minimal survivability (just bkb will be enough). With blink, bkb, mom, daedalus, yasha, you just need some good/lucky positioning in a teamfight to crit spill several attacks with ur high attack speed (from mom/treads) to obliterate 2-3 heroes with your spill. I have had to fight harder carries who can rape me 1v1, but just being able to hit them for a couple seconds with my team's disable and you'll shred their hp and the people behind them so fast that you could luck your way into winning the fight despite them having superior dmg/tank etc.
i find that replacing getting blink with getting a yasha makes your pushing and ability to stand and fight a lot stronger although you might have a harder time chasing and initiating i think its worth it in some cases
Stupid advice, when they are turtling at their base farm all lanes and jungle, get aegis and then split push/gank/5man push depending on your and theirs lineup.
Technically if you and your team were playing correctly, you should be unstoppable by 30 minutes. Your meld strike should be making them drop like flies if you really dominated mid. The only way they would be able to defend that well against you is if you do what I see a bunch of teams do and start moping around in the jungle.
Last night I went Spectre and I solo'd short lane against a Bloodseeker and Silencer. So yeah, 14 creep kills at 15 minutes for me - not to mention our Sniper lost mid and never ganked either lane. So how did we win? The enemy team never bothered to actually END THE GAME. After every gank, they would run out the lane and back to their jungle, or to Roshan. I ended up getting all the farm I missed out on for that 15 minutes of being shut down. It was about a 65 minute game or something like that and, as any good player will tell you, you NEVER let the game get to 65 minutes when you're facing a hero like Spectre. But the point is, the enemy team had the advantage but didn't go for the win ( for whatever reason ). When you have the upper hand in a game, you don't need to keep jungling, farming creeps, or waiting for Roshan to respawn. Just END THE GAME.
I have this problem with razor, dominate nearly every game I play with him but we still end up losing. Mid game carries require coordinated teams from what I can tell, you know teams that are going to end the game before 30 minutes (which seems impossible to get in pub games). To solve this problem, I don't pick razor anymore =/. Its a shame, cause razor really fun.
Bad advice from what I've read. If you're at their t3 towers, and they are turtling, and you can't break in, well, you won the game regardless. You now have THEIR JUNGLE, YOUR JUNGLE, ROSHAN, All 3 lanes to farm. What do they have? Whatever their towers don't take. Farm the whole map while roshan is down, when he's up, take aegis. Then split push, or get the guy to suicide aegis while you pound their team to hell, and rax.
If you get to that point, you should have a very high % of win from there on. There's no excuse.
Plus, when I'm at that point, I usually stack attack damage. That one blink + meld strike, with a good crit can one hit supports if farmed enough.
why do u want ta to do anything in lategame lol
her strong point is to rape ppls ever since ur lvl 7 or 9
u just get ur dagger and phases run around map and 2-4 shot anything that moves then u get some more items and 2 shot everything and end up getting couple rosh kills and finishing game if u got decent team theres no way u can lose after raping mid/lanes as ta
no matter how good you are, you will eventually find an opponent good enough to not lose the game by 40 minutes... and now you've entered late game with TA. Assuming they are stuck in base does not mean they are helpless. They can smoke out of base to kill some ppl, they can only be slightly behind (ta can get a lot of kills while her team dies behind her), or they can have a stronger late game lineup and start getting out of their base and winning engagements because they finally got a big blink or lvl 16 or guinsoo or bkb, whatever.

Assuming you have decent players, you could still have lost side lanes from the draft, underfarmed or outpicked and ta can't even gank the side lanes even if she owned middle.

Hey guys, i'm facing a recurring problem where I go solo mid and manage to carry the mid game with ta. Basically, the enemy team is at a disadvantage with all their outermost towers destroyed and bunch of kills in our favor.
However, I can't seem to win teamfights at their tier 4 tower, and once it hits the 30 minute mark i'm pretty much useless. So is there anyway I could win the game afterwards? It seems like if we don't have a hard carry in the team we will lose in the late game even if we owned in the mid game. After trying Daedalus and bkbs I still can't seem to have much impact in late fights.... only in ganking situations
