It's a like a puzzle, we have a lot of moving parts and we are working to get them all finished. Hopefully we will have a MAJOR update soon but I don't want to put any more pressure on our amazing development team.

It would be nice to give players a global ranking to help them to track their skill level improvement.
Because value doesn't reveal their internal ranking system, a 'Dotabuff ranking' could be used consisting of a simple 5v5 ELO ranking algorithm calculated and applied after each game. It obviously wouldn't be as accurate as Valve's, but it would still be a good indicator of skill level.
