you cant actually automate this game to automatically ban player who left the game. sometimes they have problem with internet connection or electricity blackout. if it happens to you and you get banned.. you'll feel more pissed coz you didnt intend it to happen.
That doesn't need to stop Dotabuff from creating a blacklist..
I've seen a lot of posts on other fora saying 'look at this leaver, omg' with links to dotabuff profiles proving that they in fact do leave every other match.
I for one would think it's a great idea if Dotabuff collects this data to create a blacklist of people consistently ruining the game (i think i only finish like 20-30% of my games with 10). First of all to just name and shame, but also to have a list handy for when Valve finally mans up and starts trying to tackle this problem.
they should just put that if i report someone i dont get to play with him again.. simple as that
