Virtus.Pro Takes Third Title at ESL One Birmingham
Virtus.Pro didn't need the 750 DPC points, but they pulled down $500,000 in prize money by winning the ESL One Birmingham Major and their third ESL title. They swept Optic Gaming 3-0 in the grand finals to cap off their perfect run without dropping a game through both the group stage and the playoffs.
Despite finishing 2nd and 3rd place, Pain Gaming and Fnatic desperately needed a first place win for any chance of a TI8 invite. The event turned out best for a team who wasn't even participating: VGJ.Thunder. With Optic knocking out Fnatic then losing in the finals, and EG dismantling, VGJ.Thunder manage to hold onto their 8th place standing on the Pro Circuit.

In hours of each other, both Misery and Fear announced that they're no longer with EG. The not so subtle wording of their tweets intimates some drama within the organization, especially since the move knocks EG out of top 8 on the DPC and the regional qualifiers. They'll have to compete in the open qualifiers.
The move comes after the team's 0-3 departure from ESL One Birmingham, as well as a lackluster performance at GESC:Thailand where they were eliminated by Keen gaming. EG announced they would release a new roster before the Supermajor.
Complexity Shuffles Its Roster
Complexity announced that they would be removing Chessie and adding former members Adam and Moonmeander. After removing Kyle Freedman from the roster, the team had been operating with standins, Saksa and kitrak, . They failed to find much success with the lineup, losing 10 of their last 13 matches, finishing 9-10th at Epicenter XL and unable to qualify for further DPC events. Moonmeander will takeover the offlane position and Moo will slide over to his old carry position.

Why was Sumail moved from mid??? It was quite clear that his high paced aggressive play won them the TI5 title... He created so much space and rotations that their offlane could go aggressive and their safelaner had all the time to farm in quiet peace. Even the meta supports this play style now. Only good reason for moving Sumail off the mid would be that he specifically requested for it. The man was a legend at 16... And it is not that long ago...
EG should get a better offlaner and move Sumail back to mid. It's so obvious he misses playing mid and EG sometimes play 3-core lineups and Sumail ends up playing Mid lmao. EG needs a pos 5. Misery was nice but not enough. And lastly, rtz needs to step up his game. How many times have you seen this babyrage boi get caught out of position and die.

Agreed, ~^^. Not sure what's going through Complexity's noggins. Old man Fear has had his fair run through pro DotA, and Misery hasn't had a run too shabby either. I'm excited to see what s4 and Fly can do for them. Maybe with this Artour can finally win a TI... one can dream, anyways.

EG took Fly and S4 from OG. Now the question is what is OG gonna do with their lineup.
Feel sorry for Jerax, one of the best pos 4 out there. I hope he can find another good team or OG somehow can come up with a good lineup anytime soon. Ana back to OG perhaps?
^^^^ Notail NEEDS to go back to support. I swear is he even a carry in most of his matches? I mean I feel bad that everyone's flaming him and calling him NoBrain and all, but he's not that good of a carry. OG needs a Pos 5 asap and maybe ana will come back to OG and be mid again. So maybe Notail will be pos 5, Jerax pos 4, Ana Mid. They need a carry and an offlaner. Seb is not good honestly. They need a better position 1 carry. I can't think of any other player.
Here is my thought on the roster of EG.
Pos 1 = RTZ
Pos 2 = Suma1l
Pos 3 = can either invite s4 or bring universe back ( but that is highly not going to happen. )
Pos 4 = Crit maybe but I really wanted Zai to be back.
Pos 5 = I think Misery is good for hard support
and s4 to be the leader since he led Alliance to victory in TI3 and he's a veteran for the team since Fear got kicked.
