Mineski becomes the first Southeast Asia team to win a Dota Major by taking down LGD in the grand final series at DAC 2018. The results of this major caused a shuffle of the rankings on the Dota Pro Circuit. With Mineski receiving the first place prize of $370,000 and 750 DPC points, they've launched up to 3rd on the leaderboards. LGD's 2nd place finish puts them in the top 8, at 7th, for guaranteed invites slots for TI8. The result of DAC 2018 is that now Evil Geniuses and Na'Vi have been nudged out of the top 8. Na'vi will get a chance to close the gap next week at the Starladder i-league Minor, which has 300 DPC points up for grabs.
Today we issued a wave of permanent matchmaking bans to players who were found to be abusing cheats (e.g. auto-hex scripting). There will be subsequent ban waves in the coming weeks. We do not support or condone the use of any third-party modifications during matchmade games.

Valve announced permanent matchmaking bans to players who have been abusing cheats. While Valve hasn't released data on the number of bans or indicated the extent of cheating in the game, the ban is an appropriate response and an acknowledgment to the unfair advantages offered by exploits such as zoom out hacks, which was a boon for Tinker players. Valve specifically singled out auto-hexing scripts, which made it nearly impossible to blink-initiate on a target that could instantly disable you.
Almost a year after he edged the Arcana vote over Rubick at TI, Pudge finally received his Arcana in the Feast of Abcession update. The Arcana adds a pair of glowing chain scythes from Pudge's back. To add insult to injury, you can also unlock them in a green, luminescent style, as a reminder of Rubick's defeat in the Arcana vote. The update also includes the usual swath of special effect treatments on his spells, as well as a hook streak counter. On our charts, Pudge was already historically the most played hero of all time with a 33% pick rate. To compare, in 7.11 his pick rate was 40.5%. Since the Arcana release, it's now hovering around 48%. Expect Pudge in about half of your games for the near future.
SEA is rising and Navi is out of the international... All my fears are coming true

Never heard of such scripts, never encountered them either. Only professionals in divine are probably capable of that, where every millisecond counts.
@dreadnought325 It happens a lot with invoker players using scripts that auto combines your spells ect.
Instead of scripting anything, get a piece of hardware, ie a keyboard that has macros for you to try use your heroes more effectively;
Лучшая Аркана в Доте на лучшего героя.Пиджик уан лав)
I so hope a tons of people will permanently get banned, well deserved.
@dreadnought325 you make no sense whatsoever, it matters even more for low skill players, as instead of being unable to even target a hero in seconds, they will instantly hex, more efficiently and quickly than even the quickest pros.
Can toxic players in SEA be banned too.
lol SEA banned better play with SEA pros before judging them
