She does her best on safelane, but if you are choosing beetwen mid or offlane, i would go for offlane +2 aggresive supports like omni+ogre to crush the lane

Definitely mid so she can’t get zoned out.

The only advantage mid offers over offlane is it is harder to gank unless she is pushed out, and you hit 6 faster (and I guess if no other mid champ has a more relevant ult, ok I guess). Offlane with a babysitter support if you must. Safe lane like a normal late hard carry though.

But ain’t she pretty tanky? With dagger you can run if they try to gank you. I shall try her solo offlane later.

she is not tanky in the early game
she is only tanky when she has something like manta rad heart or some significant levels (talents) and items
her early game is pretty damn squishy

Don't play spec solo offlane. Ever. I see literally no situation where that would ever be good. She's too reliant on farm to go offlane. Sure, maybe you win a game or two with it, but ask yourself when playing, "Would another hero be able to do what I'm currently doing better?"

The answer to that is always yes.
