It's too expensive for supports to get. If they've gotten enough gold to get a midas, they're probably at a decent lead, and as such should pick up items to push the lead further, instead of slow down the pace like Midas does. Plus, the alternatives still stand to be better for carries. Battle fury is still insanely good despite the recipe addition nerf, and maelstrom isn't a bad option either. Few heroes can justify the purchase atm.
costs more to build now and there is items like drums, kaya, Yasha that helps you move faster or do more damage and sustain
there's only one hero in dota who really needs midas. its arc warden. Mb also invoker. midas is kinda useless on any position tbh. new patch changed nothing.
supports can't afford it and I don't really notice any cores having issues with experience anymore.
